ELIZABETH FRY ROOM AT FRIENDS HOUSE, 8 HOP GARDENS, LONDON WC2N 4EH
Just two minutes’ walk from Leicester Square tube station, this spacious studio is part of Friends House in St Martin’s Lane but is accessed via 8 Hop Gardens (between Cote Brasserie and Gymbox). Press the bell for the Elizabeth Fry Room and it’s the first room on the right. In addition to Leicester Square, several other underground stations lie within around 10 minutes walking distance, including Covent Garden, Tottenham Court Road, Piccadilly Circus and Charing Cross. And the studio’s central location means a considerable number of bus routes heading towards both north and south London run close by.
Yoga mats and relaxation blankets are provided, and there are toilets that can be used for changing in. Pre-booking is not essential and you are welcome just to drop in on the night, although it’s always useful if people do book so we can get a rough idea of the number of mats to lay out. Single classes cost £12.50, or a 5-class pass may be purchased for £50, a saving of 20% per class on the standard price. The pass may also be used for Ed’s Saturday morning kundalini yoga and meditation classes at Fitzrovia Community Centre.
If you have any questions not answered above just drop Ed a line or call him on 07952 307862.
